The Others Live program presents a variety of DJ sets and music performances, curated by Theodore Jahng, to kick off the weekend.
THURSDAY, MAY 3RD:
FRIDAY, MAY 4TH:
SATURDAY, MAY 5TH:
SUNDAY, MAY 6TH:
Theodore Jahng is music curator for The Other Art Fair Brooklyn. His interests lie at the intersection of music, design, film, and food. In addition to DJing regularly in Brooklyn and Manhattan, Theodore is a music supervisor, specializing in soundtracks for fashion shows & presentations, multimedia design projects, and commercial spaces. In curating the music program for TOAF, there was a desire to work with some of the best independent labels, stores, and artists in New York; the DJs performing in the resulting lineup embody the multidisciplinary approach of so many artists in New York; playing at The Other Art Fair provides an opportunity for them to stretch their sound and play selections that they normally would not be able to play in a club environment.
For his own set during the Private Viewing, expect Theodore to play an eclectic mix, including left-field gems, strange pop, rare groove, obscure film scores, and, of course, the necessary Sade deep cut.
Saatchi Art, the world's leading online gallery, offers a unique space to take a breather and experience an exciting line-up of inspiring programming, including a speaker series and site specific artist installations.
Saatchi Art's expert curators are available to meet with in the Lounge for both visitor art advisory advice and artist 'meet and greets'.

Indulge in artisanal hand made vegan ice cream by New York's favorite Van Leeuwen from their yellow ice cream truck.
Van Leeuwen artisan ice cream started in the Spring of 2008 out of a buttery yellow truck on the streets of NYC. They set out to revive the classic American ice cream truck and the art of traditional ice cream making using ingredients perfected by nature, not science. Van Leeuwen Classic and Vegan ice creams are made with just a handful of fresh ingredients. Each flavor is a celebration of some of the world's best artisan producers and farmers both local and from around the world.
